Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2, 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LinkBrief service, website, and related applications (the "Service"), provided by LinkBrief ("LinkBrief", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who you are contracting with
You are entering into a binding agreement with LinkBrief. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use the Service, and if you use it on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
2. The Service
LinkBrief lets you save links to short-form videos (such as TikTok and Instagram Reels), automatically transcribes and summarizes them using third-party AI providers, and delivers organized briefings so you can revisit the content later. Features, limits, and plans may change over time.
3. Accounts and account security
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
- upload malware, attempt to probe, scan, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, or scrape the Service outside of publicly documented interfaces;
- infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party, including by submitting content you do not have the right to submit;
- use the Service to generate spam, harassing content, or content that promotes violence, hate, sexual exploitation, or illegal activity;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
5. AI-generated content
LinkBrief uses AI models to transcribe and summarize the videos you save. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or reflect biases in the source content or the underlying model. You are responsible for the links and prompts you submit, for verifying outputs before relying on them, and for ensuring you have the rights necessary to submit the source content.Outputs must not be used as a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).
You must not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, deceptive (including deepfakes or non-consensual sexual content), infringing, or that attempts to jailbreak, reverse engineer, or circumvent safety measures of the underlying AI models.
We reserve the right to remove or refuse to generate any content and to suspend accounts that repeatedly submit infringing or prohibited material. Rights holders who believe content generated or stored through LinkBrief infringes their rights may contact us at the address in section 12 for a takedown request.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including all software, documentation, branding, and content we provide, is owned by LinkBrief and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You retain ownership of the links and any content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.
7. Payment, subscriptions, taxes, refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing, renewal, currency, applicable taxes, and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
8. Service level and warranties
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence).
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts owed, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our acceptable-use rules. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention window.
11. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at LinkBrief's place of establishment, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Questions, notices, or takedown requests can be sent to support@linkbrief.app.
